ReflectiveTeacher at TeachThought- November Blog Challenge- Day 1

I would have to say that one of the best aspects of being a teacher is the flexibility we are afforded in our work everyday. This freedom to let our personality and abilities peek out and affect what we teach and how we teach it really is a great perk to being an educator. Now, I know that many teachers say that this freedom and allowance for individuality is slowly being taken away by administration and educational initiatives, but really, think about it. We need to compare our profession with many others out there. What profession do you know of where you have that kind of latitude for your creativity? What profession do you know of where every day and for some of us, every group of students we meet brings forth new challenges and new opportunities to work in a completely different way? What profession do you know of where no day has ever looked the same, ever!

So today, I write about only 1 aspect because it has been the thing that has let me be me!
