The most cherished gifts I receive are from students when they travel to Spanish-speaking countries. I guess the thing that I love most about those gifts is that those students had such a good time and that the culture same alive for them as I hoped it would. The fact that they thought of me to buy me something is very sweet, but I also love these gifts because they are a little piece of that Spanish-speaking country that I can use as a teachable moment to inspire others to travel abroad!
